Robert Boland: Managing Director
Robert Boland’s art handling experience began in 1997 with a position at the Conduit Gallery in Dallas, Texas, and continued with an internship at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. In 2000, Boland returned to Dallas to participate in the University of Texas at Dallas’s Southside Artist Residency program. While an artist-in-residence, he was also a member of the artist-run co-op 500X Gallery and was president from 2002-2003. Since 2000, Boland has worked as a commercial photographer, shooting for clients such as Taylor & Francis, Landmarks: The Public Art Program of the University of Texas at Austin, and Lora Reynolds Gallery. After completing his MFA in 2007 at the University of Texas in Austin, Boland received a Fulbright scholarship in 2010.
J. Patrick Sheehy: Project Specialist
J. Patrick Sheehy has 25 years of experience in fine art installation and management, specializing in metal, wood and concrete outdoor sculpture. Sheehy also has extensive knowledge in the installation of monumental sculptures, installation machinery, fabrication, long-term logistical planning, insurance and building codes. His clients have included artists such as Jim Hodges, Teresita Fernandez, Luis Jimenez and Terry Allen. On behalf of Vault, Sheehy currently works with private collectors and public institutions, managing installation, maintenance and transportation of their collections. Clients include the Blanton Museum of Art, The Contemporary Austin, the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, the French Legation Museum, the LBJ Library, Landmarks, the Briscoe Western Art Museum (San Antonio), the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lehmann Maupin Gallery and Pace Gallery (all in New York City), and international conservators and nationally recognized collectors.
Chris Campbell: Client Relations
For more than 20 years, Chris Campbell has worked in the fine art field with some of the country’s most prominent collectors. He excels in fabrication, aids works’ transportation or final display and oversees all aspects of an exhibition. While obtaining his MFA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Campbell served as manager of the New Wagner Art gallery. He was also founder of a collective of nationally recognized ceramicists focused on creating interest in contemporary functional ceramics through studio and educational outreach programs. Campbell has also worked for numerous private collectors and public institutions in the last decade, including the Blanton Museum of Art, the Briscoe Center for American History and Lora Reynolds Gallery. As an active artist and technician, Campbell is exposed to all varieties of material, which is an invaluable asset when handling the ever-growing range of fine art.
